Can't wait to move...
Review Date: 8/17/2010 Reviewer: Anonymous
First off let me say the office staff and maintenance are the best thing about this complex. I have lived there for 1 1/2 years. When my lease is up I am moving. The neighbors are rude and inconsiderate. A lot of the owners with pets either don't use a leash (it's a law to have one on a leash at all times) or they do not pick up dog poop. I have dogs and I clean up after mine and constantly have to guard them from other dogs running up to them because of their ignorant owners. Neighbors like to play their music loud enough for me to hear the words. I have had to call the cops a few times when it is late at night, however now they just do it all day instead of after 10pm. The gym? it's a joke. You have 1 treadmill, 1 bike, 1 stair stepper, 1 other machine and weights. The bike does not work and beeps if you just use it anyways. The other machine is like a bike the seat cushion is all ripped up and you need to place a towel down to sit down. They have restrooms available, however lock them when they leave for the day so if you need to use the restroom you will have to go back to your apartment. The grounds are always dirty or unkept. It's because the parents let their kids run around with no one to watch them. They tear up and break things. My unit has pieces of wall missing and the stairs always feel like they are going to fall apart. The dishwasher never works, yet when they come out their solution? Just use it to dry the dishes. The dryer? Two turns to dry your clothes regardless of what you wash. Not much storage inside of your apartment. Obviously office doesn't inspect units very well. When I moved in I was putting stuff away on the planter shelves and well found an old dusty "adult item". It was gross but I did get a laugh out of it. Their are old non-working vehicles on premises that have sat in the same place since I moved in. Maybe if they were towed off there would be better parking available. When my lease was up instead of trying to lower my rent to match what the going rate was for this place and places near by they told me they keep it at what you move in as. That's one complaint I have about the office. If their prices had went up you best believe so would my rent, but when it's the other way around they can't do anything? |
