Apartment Review for Mayan Plaza Apartments - Las Vegas, NV

The office staff can't be trusted, They will say ANYTHING to get your money and sign the lease and then they know they got you. The apts are less then average. LOTS of problems and their maintenace never fixs the problems, they just put a bandaid on a broken leg so to speak....they screw in the screens to the windows instead of buying properly sized screens, and even screw the windows closed, big time fire hazard ! Infact the fire inspector has been out here for that exact reason. The pool was earlier condemed by the health dept and often has a fishy smell. The hot tub is always broken, only one jet works and is always low on water...they used to advertsie for years of a steam room that was working, but still advertised that they had a steam room....for the whole year i lived here my dishwasher overflows jsut about everytime, and when i complain they said thats how it is and blame the "hard water" and say there is nothing they can do except put clr fluid in there. I've lived in las vegas since 2002 and only in mayan plaza does the "hard water" cause the dishwasher to over flow and flood the kitchen. So i'm sure there's mold in the kitchen. This apt complex is very well known amoung their renters for flooding. I've had my apt flood 5 times, and when i bring to their attention mold on the baseboards they sent maintenance over to spray paint the baseboards white. never once abait for mold the carpet, pads, or baseboards. I could go on more problems but i think all the readers get the point, but i will leave you with this, mayan plaza will find ANY reason to keep some or all of ur security deposit!!
