Apartment Review for Meadow Ridge - Las Vegas, NV

I have never stayed in an appartment complex that didn't make the appropriate repairs. We are currently paying 1100.00 monthly and have several problems One being the airconditioning unit. It is currently 106 tonight and our air has frozen up. This happens twice daily and sometimes three times daily. We have to turn it off to let it thaw so it will work again. I have been calling the office for two months now. When it thaws out it starts working again. I guess this means it's not important. They have time and time again said they were sending someone out, and only once has someone come and they just looked at the vent and said they would be back first thing in the morning. They did not return. We had a problem with our garage door. It would fall off the track. We called and called about it. Only after over ten requests and my husband getting totally hacked off did someone come out. He had been told by their office the parts were on order. When the repair person FINALLY showed up, he said they had the parts the entire time. If they hadn't, they could have gotten it from home depot, right down the street. The management here is irresponsible, and negligent and I intend to notify the property owners.. that is if they care. We have a bug problem, the dishwasher must be from 1903 and the refrigerator has to be as old, no ice maker, metal racks for shelves, the oven is ancient, nothing is impressive about this establishment. And they are getting a fair price for the rentals, they should be keeping the property in good condition. I am looking now for somewhere else to live.
