Change of Management Bad for the Complex
Review Date: 9/28/2009 Reviewer: Anonymous
This used to be a very nice place. It is located in a culdesac which prevents traffic, and reduces crime. The one major problem before was the gate; it hasn't worked since we moved in. We were promised it would be and signed a lease for a "gated community". We since were told by another resident that it was paved over in 2004, and had not worked for years before that. Since a management change late 2008, the complex has declined. There is now one maintenance guy. He's professional, nice, and good at his job, but overworked. This is an older complex, and it shows. Minor repairs get skipped. Major repairs may take him until late evening hours to get to. There is a spider problem, with an unreliable extermination service since management changed. New managers and office staff are less friendly, less willing to work with people. The pools, spa, and gym are usually closed now (ostensibly for repairs). There are plenty of card operated washer and dryers, but the machine to get the card is in the office - which is locked not only after hours, but at odd times during the day. New residents are being charged much less than existing residents, so maybe it would be worth it. I advise to find something better. We're moving out soon as our lease is up. |
