Apartment Review
Moving out was horrible
Review Date: 5/4/2009 Reviewer: Anonymous
Worse experience ever. We lived there for 3 years and the old management was nice, maintenance guy was a bit off his rocker but everything is was descent. Everyone left each other alone for the most part. However when the new management came in after they sold the property it got worse. They came and harrassed us at our apartment about my roommates car, gave him 3 hours to move a non working car. We stopped bothering asking for maintanence work after the upstairs apartment flooded and they didn't bother fixing the damage to the floors in the bathroom. The dishwasher never worked properly, nor did the washing machine. When their numbers started dwindling, they started letting anyone move in and thats when the flood of drug dealers and domestic violence started and we had police there all the time. Many times we came home to find police blocking off sections of the complex. So we thought it would be a happy day the day we moved out. But we were wrong. They sent us this insane bill a few weeks later, it seemed that everything that was never kept up with the place was our fault. They tried charging us for new carpet at an outrages price(over $4 a square foot), they said we drew graffiti on the walls and that they had to paint over it and wanted to charge us over $700 for the new paint job. it wasn't worth it at all. |
